Overseeding Existing Grass Leys

by Ed Gibbon - 16th May 2011

For fields which are particularly small, have too steep terrain or for those who simply can’t justify having any pastureland out of action for several months then overseeding may just be the answer.

It can be useful and often prudent to top up more mature grass leys with fresh growth or as a way of introducing new grass species which may respond better to fertiliser applications. We can supply seed, spread and help establish new grass on most pasture land and for the most effective germination we recommend harrowing, broadcasting, re-harrowing and lastly rolling.

The whole process can be carried out in one visit.
